We have been open only two weeks and alas contain only ten tricky crosswords online, but by jove we have surged up the ranks of google and seem to be developing a firm fan-base.

I say the team, I mean me, an army of one if you will. Making crossword puzzles is a hard and lonley affair, so why not join the team and get your own page, add puzzles when you feel like it. The rewards are few in these early days, but one day we could all be mildy better off (only mildly).
This offer is not for just any Tom, Dick or Harry, I demand the best, a small team of elite complilers working there fingures to the bone about an hour a week (or less your choice).

Is it just me or does The Times quick crossword go from painfully easy to ridiculously hard. I accept that there will be clues that escape me from time to time (no pun intended), but whole puzzles, “that sir is an insult!”.
One can only imagine the crossword compiler sitting in a room planning the inevitable swing from easy to hard, cackling while drinking a large Brandy and smoking a Cuban Cigar at ten in the morning.
Of course I could be wrong, possibly even delusional (well I am half way through a bottle of Louis XIII) , but damn it, I do like that crossword.

Holidays are Over
Apologies my faithful few, I have been away for the lovely month of August and not been tending to my crossword duties. This is a tradition set in stone by the Von Saltlecke family generations ago. August has always been a time to unwind with hunting, yachting and the taking in the sites and sounds of vineyards, casinos and dens on inequity. I joke of course, the mind is willing but the body has long since given up.
This year was the New World and those god awful colonials, well not all of them thankfully. I travelled the Californian coast trying the best of the bunch to see what all the fuss was about. The French have a lot to fear from this New World vino, let me tell you.
I finished the tour with a week in Rio, the perfect place to unwind after what the papers these days describe as a binge. A binge, they haven’t lived but this is course the problem with journos, no soul, prostitutes to tragedy and inane dross.
Well hopefully after the mist of August fades away, I’ll be adding a number of quick crosswords for my growing congregation.
